Some would consider the rooms of this Left Bank enclave sparse, but it's all part of the minimalist chic of this design hotel that draws travelers who want to play pied-à-terre in Paris. It helps that you're practically across the street form the Café Flore and other legendary haunts of St. Germain des Pres. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.

Designer Jacques Garcia's boudoir-chic design of the Right Bank Costes continues its hold on the fashion world—forget scoring a reservation during the shows. It's all see-and-be-seen, whether in the dimly lit lounge or courtyard restaurant. With clientele of the bronzed and beautiful, the fitness center is first-rate, of course. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.

This fashionable palace hotel, right on the boutique-filled Avenue Montaigne, was featured on the last episode of Sex and the City and draws a predictably glam clientele. The trump card is Alain Ducasse’s three-star restaurant and the louche lounge-bar, where ever-inventive cocktails that Carrie and the gang would approve of are served. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
The recent renovation by bad-boy designer Philippe Starck and his daughter, Alma, had fans and foes, but despite the buzzing new lobby area, the Meurice remains a grande dame at heart. Opposite from the Tuileries gardens, it has all the opulent Parisian flourishes as well as the latest technological tricks and a prime Right Bank location. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
Timeless and deeply chic at once, the Left Bank Montalembert set the design bar high when it re-opened—post renovations overseen by legendary hotelier Grace Leo-Andrieu—in 1990. Rooms are small but full of such winning details such as Christian Liaigre furniture, flat-screen televisions, iPod docking stations and L'Occitane products. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
Paris meets South Beach at this 52-room design hotel off the Place de la République, in eastern Paris. Rooms are done with imagination and whimsy (think painted furniture, white shag carpet and splashes of color). The lounge is open all day for light snacks but it becomes a gathering spot for the ultra-trendy in the evening. -reviewed by Indagare Travel, Inc.
