Invisible Cities: Henri Lefebvre's The Explosion  

“Henri Lefebvre’s thought captures that blend of theory and poetry, Marxism and surrealism, characteristic of the student movement of ’68,” notes architecture and urbanism theorist Tom McDonough in his discussion of Lefebvre’s recently republished book The Explosion. “However, if we turn back to Lefebvre now, it is not simply out of nostalgia but because his analysis—based finally on a desire to ground political debate at the level of the immediately lived—bears directly on our own circumstances.”
