Who is Alexandra Moore? Do you know how I can find out more about her?
Hmm...well, t-hat's jus-t gr(e)at.
It seems not much discussion goes on here. As a “forum”, these comment spaces have about as much efficacy as places of information exchange as do the ad-ridden pages of Artforum's print publication.
Living in NYC, I can sometimes, very rarely, get an old-style argument about art going. Most seem afraid to either say what they think or reveal their lack of thought on certain subjects in art or the artworld.
Anyone know of a good blog/site where some good debate goes down?
I've set up a new blog that tries to initiate some good discussions about morality and affluence in the artworld:
...sorry to be “off-topic”, but was there really even a topic being disussed here?
no topics here, please
Talkback is a form of
and little else
...except it seems no one is coming.
do you get the sense, as do i, that there is a scarcity of debate or argument about anything lately?
the new rule appears to be: “Offend no one! They might work at a blue chip...or know someone who does. ”
It seems to be ok to criticise a particular artist or work, but if you have much to say beyond the usual vague “yeah, the market sucks”, you're suddenly a screaming mad street prophet.
Is it, maestro...Mozart's skull?
To all who would like to be Anonymus on the “ART” Forums

This forum is doomed because the format is crap. Nothing to do with names. Debate is not contingent on someone's name. Old threads disappear, recent posts don't move a thread up to the top of the list .... This forum is doomed because Artforum is too cheap to be bothered with a real forum format. This forum is doomed for the same reason that most people find the art scene persisitently disappearing where the sun don't shine. This forum is doomed becasuse the emperor is still naked.
If you have concerns about the design of this Forum, would you help them out with some technical suggestions?
im a fan of black text on a charcoal background. Its sophisticated.
White text on a blue background.
By all accounts that is the most relaxing.
But I'm not sure it has much artistic merit.....
1 pica uncoded Braille on white?
Knopf. It should look like Knopf.

Irreversible Magazine is a Community of Creative Artistic Individuals that desire to showcase their talents to the world. ...Art, in its broadest meaning, is the expression of creativity and imagination. Should we know about you? Are you doing something ?
Isnt this the collector Greenberg had in his pocket?
Where are they, Professor Smartie-Pants...where are they, now? Huh?
ILuvCats could certainly come back into fashion, you know.
Then ILuvCats got in touch with his eyebrows, found out how to talk with purpose, though whispering was reluctant shrug... “no, of course, we have never been through this kind of thing...i mean, before...you know, before...the other one”
Um indeed. SuperStudent knows EVERY damned thing (s/he just never really lets on). ILuvCats has to remain calm.
Ready...set...touch yo phone. “no you di'n't...gurl...no you di'n't”.
