The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art has announced that Aaron Moulton will be joining its staff as senior curator of exhibitions. Moulton received a curatorial degree from the Royal College of Art in London, and then served as editor of Flash Art International in Milan. For the past five years, he has been based in Berlin, where he founded the exhibition space Feinkost. As a writer, Moulton has contributed to various publications and has written monographs on artists including Christian Jankowski and Kirstine Roepstorff. He currently coedits the exhibition quarterly AGMA.
Said Adam Price, executive director of the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, “[Moulton] brings with him just the qualities that our institution needs at this time: a distinctive and exciting curatorial voice with an international perspective; an outstanding record of scholarship; and both the desire and ability to make contemporary art resonate with the people of Utah.”
