APPEALS COURT REVIVES SUIT BROUGHT BY ARTIST AGAINST SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY

Artist Elli Bern Angellino’s lawsuit against the Saudi royal family has been revived by a federal appeals court after previously being dismissed. Bern claims he is owed nearly $12.6 million for twenty-nine sculptures he designed for the royal family, reports the Associated Press in an article published via the Washington Post_. Between 2006 and 2007, the artist says that sixteen members of the family asked him to produce these works, which were custom made in Switzerland. He has filed his suit without a lawyer.
