ARTS GROUPS INVITED TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS FOR WTC MUSEUM
ARCHITECTURE
On Monday, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation invited arts organizations around the world to submit proposals for a museum and cultural center at the World Trade Center site, Newsday reports. Organizations have until Septemper 15 to submit their ideas for a museum commemorating the terrorist attacks of February 26, 1993, and September 11, 2001, and for additional cultural facilities at the site.
