BARBARA O’BRIEN APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF THE KEMPER MUSEUM

Barbara O’Brien has been named director of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, reports Andrew Russeth of the New York Observer. O’Brien joined the museum in 2009 as a curator and has since served as chief curator and director of exhibitions and collections. She replaces Rachael Blackburn, who began at the museum in 2001.
