Mike Sunnucks at the Phoenix Business Journal reports that Bud Selig, a former Major League Baseball commissioner, and his wife Sue have donated $2.5 million to the Phoenix Art Museum to support the creation of a chief curator position. The job of curator has previously fallen under the duties of the museum’s director.
Sue Selig was quoted as saying, “Bud and I truly love Phoenix Art Museum and wanted our contribution to be applied toward something that is instrumental in the growth of this wonderful institution.”
