CALIFORNIA MUSEUMS THREATENED BY FUNDING CUTS

To help resolve the state’s budget deficit, California legislators are considering gutting the California Arts Council, whose funding is crucial for thousands of arts institutions, Jonathan Curiel reports in the San Francisco Chronicle.
