The Korea Herald reports that Chung Hyung-min, the sixty-one-year-old director of the Seoul National University Museum of Art, was named director of the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul. Chung received her Ph.D. in art history from Columbia. She has been teaching art at Seoul National University since 1994 and acting as exhibition director of Seoul Arts Center since 1999.
