Claudia La Rocco Named Editor-in-Chief of SF MoMA’s Open Space

Claudia La Rocco has been named editor-in-chief of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s Open Space, a digital publication and community platform. She succeeds Suzanne Stein, who is leaving to pursue her own projects.

In addition to contributing to Artforum, La Rocco has been a longtime writer for the New York Times. She authored The Best Most Useless Dress (Badlands Unlimited, 2014), and has held residencies at the Headlands Center for the Arts, Stanford University and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.

Open Space was founded in 2008.
