CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM ST. LOUIS PROMOTES CHIEF CURATOR TO DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Robin Scher reports in Artnews that the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis announced that Jeffrey Uslip, its chief curator, has been newly appointed to the post of deputy director for exhibitions and programs. As part of his expanded roster of duties, Uslip will work with the museum’s executive director, Lisa Melandri, to promote the institution and improve its local and national standing.

Since joining the museum as chief curator in February 2014, Uslip has organized exhibitions on Joe Goode, Jesse Howard, Joyce Pensato, Lisa Yuskavage, Wyatt Kahn, Jon Rafman, Arcangelo Sassolino, Michael Staniak, Liat Yossifor, and the 2016 Driskell Prize winner, Mark Bradford, among others.
