London-based, Turkish Cypriot artist Mustafa Hulusi and Greek Cypriot artist Haris Epaminonda are scheduled to represent the Republic of Cyprus at this year’s Venice Biennale, reports Londra Toplum Postasi. Asked how he feels to be representing Cyprus, Mustafa argued that the focus of the Biennale is art: “It tries to circumvent politics,” he said.
