Architect Daniel Libeskind has been given a lesser role in the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site, Grant McCool reports on Reuters. David Childs, who is real-estate developer Larry Silverstein’s architect of choice, will become lead designer and project manager. Libeskind will be “collaborating architect during the concept and schematic design phases,” the corporation overseeing the building process said in a statement.
