Recently, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the UCLA Hammer Museum, and the LA Children’s Museum have all announced expansion or renovation plans, only to shelve or postpone them, Suzanne Muchnic reports in the Los Angeles Times. But for every local building plan that has gone awry, several others are shaping up.
