The New York Times_ reports that new Dia Art Foundation director Jessica Morgan has announced four new trustees are joining Dia’s board. The news trustees are the Greek shipping mogul George Economou; Ra Hee Hong Lee, director general of South Korea’s Leeum Samsung Museum of Art; Irene Panagopoulos, a Greek businesswoman and collector; and artist George Condo. Condo is replacing Brice Marden (who becomes trustee emeritus).
Morgan said these appointments reflect her wish to bring a broader international focus to Dia.
