Diane C. Wright Named Curator of Glass at the Chrysler Museum of Art

Diane C. Wright has been named curator of glass at the Chrysler Museum of Art, reports Teresea Annas of the Virginian-Pilot. Wright has taught glass history at institutions including Rhode Island School of Design and Parsons; her research has appeared in Glass Quarterly, the Journal of Glass Studies, and in the bulletin of Yale University Art Gallery, where she was a senior curatorial fellow in the American decorative arts department. She comes to the museum, home to one of the most preeminent glass collections, from the Pilchuck Glass School. Wright will begin her new position in March.
