The High Museum of Art has appointed Charles L. Abney III as chairman of its board of directors, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Howard Pousner.
Abney has served on the High’s board for nearly a decade. He is a portfolio manager and member of the Investment Policy Committee with ZWJ Investment Counsel. Over the years Abney has held a variety of roles on the board, including chair elect, vice chair of the finance and operations committee, treasurer, and nominating committee member. He also serves on the Woodruff Arts Center’s governing board.
