This week, works by more than two hundred artists from around the world will go on view in Los Angeles galleries and art institutions as part of the annual LA International art fair. In previous years, writes the Los Angeles Times‘s Louise Roug, attendance for the fair’s opening parties has tied up the Santa Monica Freeway, and this year the organizers are expecting a similar turnout. Based on years past, they project between fifty and sixty thousand people will visit at least one of the participating galleries over the five-week run.
