JAMES TURRELL INDUCTED INTO AMERICAN ACADEMY OF ARTS AND LETTERS
James Turrell was elected this week into the American Academy of Arts and Letters. The Pace Gallery announced that Turrell’s work will be on view as part of a group exhibition featuring work of the newly elected members as well as the 2011 recipients of honors and awards. Six of the artist’s reflected holograms will be exhibited as part of the show, on view at the Audubon Terrace at the Academy in New York.
