JOHN PETER NILSSON APPOINTED DIRECTOR AT MODERNA MUSEET MALMö

The Moderna Museet Malmö has announced that John Peter Nilsson will become its new acting director. Nilsson currently works as a curator at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, and will begin his new position on March 1, 2012.

Moderna Museet director Daniel Birnbaum said in an announcement that Nilsson “is one of Sweden’s most experienced and respected figures on the art scene. With his international focus and specialist knowledge about this region, he is the person we believe can build Moderna Museet’s presence in Skåne and across the Öresund strait.”
