Justine Ludwig and Alison Gingeras to Join Dallas Contemporary’s Curatorial Team

Dallas Contemporary has two new curators joining its team: Justine Ludwig—who’s worked as assistant and adjunct curator at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati—is joining Dallas Contemporary as senior curator and director of exhibitions, while Alison Gingeras—who’s worked as curator of contemporary art at the Centre Pompidou, chief curator of Palazzo Grassi in Venice, and curator at the Solomon R. Guggeheim Museum—will be joining as adjunct curator.

“Justine comes to Dallas Contemporary with an expansive international background and a curatorial insight to new artistic visions and ideas,” said Peter Doroshenko, executive director of the museum, who added: “Alison will support our programming by bringing her rigorous curatorial practice to the institution.” Dallas Contemporary is a noncollecting art museum which features everyone from regional to international artists.
