KATARINA PIERRE APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF BILDMUSEET

Katarina Pierre has been appointed director of Bildmuseet and will lead the institution in its ongoing investment at Umeå Arts Campus. Pierre has worked at Bildmuseet since 1995, serving as a curator and temporary acting director. “Bildmuseet is a unique art institution,” says Pierre, “and it feels fantastically exciting—a privilege—to head the work leading up to the move and new investments at Umeå Arts Campus.”
