KIM CULLEN NAMED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF NEW YORK LIVE ARTS

Kim Cullen has been named the executive director of New York Live Arts, the legendary performance space where choreographer Bill T. Jones serves as its artistic director.

Cullen has a history of freelance producing abroad and in New York, and served for a time as a producing director for Elizabeth Streb. Cullen started with New York Live Arts in 2014, and helped produce Laurie Anderson’s 2015 Live Ideas festival. She was then appointed interim executive director of New York Live Arts last summer.

“During this past year I have had the benefit of witnessing Kim’s tremendous strategic thinking, profoundly human managerial style and audacious positivity. These qualities have given me confidence that Kim is the right person for our organization at this time,” says Jones.
