LA MoCA Elects Sutton Stracke to Board

The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, has announced today the election of Sutton Stracke to its Board of Trustees. Stracke has been an avid supporter of dance and performing arts for over fifteen years, once serving as the director of development for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in New York and the executive director of the Augusta Ballet in Georgia. She is currently a trustee of the Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts in Orange County. “Her longtime commitment to the performing arts, and her experience at notable and creative arts institutions will be extremely valuable to LA MoCA,” said board cochair Maria Arena Bell. Stracke joins the twelve new trustees elected under Jeffrey Deitch’s directorial leadership, including Wallis Annenberg, Steven A. Cohen, Charles. L. Conlan II, Laurent Degryse, Ariel Emanuel, Nancy Jane Goldston, Richard J. Grad, Laurence Graff, Dan S. Loeb, Maurice Marciano, Edward Minskoff, and Jamie Tisch.
