LONG BEACH MUSEUM OF ART RECEIVES $2 MILLION

California’s Long Beach Museum of Art has been given a $2 million gift by Ronald and Sylvia Hartman, according to Artnews’s Hannah Ghorashi. The museum’s gallery pavilion will be named the Hartman Pavilion in their honor.

Ronald Hartman was president of the Museum Association for a decade, then sat on the museum board for another ten years. Sylvia Hartman’s also a trustee of the museum’s foundation.

This gift is the single largest in the museum’s history.
