MARTA KUZMA APPOINTED ROYAL INSTITUTE’S VICE CHANCELLOR

In cooperation with the Swedish Government, the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, has appointed Marta Kuzma as its new vice chancellor. In this role, Kuzma will oversee the development of the institution’s education and research departments. Most recently the director of the Office for Contemporary Art Norway, Oslo, Kuzma has had twenty-five years of international directorship experience. She has also previously served as director of programming at the International Center of Photography, New York, and as the founding director of the Soros Center for Contemporary Art, Kiev. In 2004, she was the cocurator of Manifesta 5, and, in 2012, was a member of the curatorial team of Documenta 13.
