Artnet reports that, not long after opening its new Daniel Libeskind–designed headquarters, the Denver Art Museum has announced that Christoph Heinrich is replacing founding curator Dianne Vanderlip. Vanderlip officially ended her tenure on January 12. Heinrich, who currently serves as chief curator of contemporary art at Hamburg Kunsthalle in Germany, won’t work full-time at the museum until September. The website also reports that the British public-art agency Artangel and the Jerwood Charitable Foundation have awarded grants to filmmaker Clio Barnard and sculptor Roger Hiorns through the Jerwood/Artangel Open, a new commissioning initiative.
