Noelle Kadar Named Director of the Sculpture Park at Madhavendra Palace in Jaipur

The Saat Saath Arts Foundation, the New Delhi–based nonprofit founded by Aparajita Jain in 2010, announced that Noelle Kadar has been appointed as director of its Sculpture Park at Madhavendra Palace in Jaipur, the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. The new initiative was launched last year with an inaugural exhibition curated by Peter Nagy, which will be on view until November 1.

Kadar most recently served as the international director of the Indian Art Fair in New Delhi. During her tenure, she grew the fair’s VIP and Patrons program and was instrumental during its rebranding through its acquisition by the Swiss company the MCH Group, the parent company of Art Basel.

Kadar will focus on planning the sculpture park’s second edition, which is set to open on December 9. The upcoming exhibition will be curated by Nagy and will include site-specific installations by various artists that will be created in collaboration with local craftspeople.

In addition to organizing future exhibitions, Kadar will focus on developing the park’s public programming, which will range from conversations between local and international artists, curators, and other prominent cultural voices to educational initiatives geared toward the local community in Jaipur and the region of Rajasthan.
