Olga Viso Appointed to the National Council on the Arts

President Obama has appointed Olga Viso to the National Council on the Arts, reports Andrew Russeth of the New York Observer. Viso is director of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis; prior to this position she spent twelve years at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, including the last two as its director. Viso replaces Frank Price, whose term has expired.
