Para Site Announces Curatorial Appointments

Para Site, the artist-run contemporary art space founded in Hong Kong in 1996, announced two senior-level curatorial promotions on Wednesday. Associate curator Qu Chang, who has been at the nonprofit since 2016, has been appointed curator. During her time at Para Site, Chang has organized exhibitions with artists including Doreen Chan, Chan Ka Kiu, Lau Wai, and Wong Wing Sang. She was previously an assistant curator at OCAT Shenzen.

Anqi Li joins Para Site as curator of education and public programs. Li, a former fellow in the Harvard Art Museums’ Department of Academic and Public Programs, has held positions at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco.
