Paris Photo Organizers to Reimburse Galleries After Fair Cancelation

After being forced to close early in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris last month due to a national state of emergency, the Paris Photo fair and its organizers Reed Exhibitions France have decided to assist exhibitors from this year’s edition of the fair with a 20 percent reimbursement of their investment costs and expenses related to the fair. The measure will only apply though to exhibitors for whom all invoices were paid to Reed before the opening of the fair.

As organizers noted in a statement, “Paris Photo was obliged to close its doors Saturday and Sunday November 14–15, thus depriving the event of more than 25,000 expected visited during the course of the final two days of the fair.”
