The job held by veteran curator Michael Cunningham, a respected expert in Japanese and Korean art, has been eliminated by the Cleveland Museum of Art as part of its effort to balance its budget, Steven Litt reports in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Museum Director Katharine Reid confirmed Monday that the museum last week eliminated the position of curator of Japanese and Korean art, held by Cunningham, 58, for more than twenty years.
