ROBERT MANN GALLERY RELOCATING TO UPPER EAST SIDE

Robert Mann Gallery announced Saturday that it is relocating to Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Returning to the neighborhood where it began in the mid-1980s, the gallery will reside in a limestone mansion at 24 East Eighty-first Street, one block from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. “In 1999, we were among the first wave of art galleries to settle in Chelsea, and the first photography gallery to do so,” Mann said in the announcement. “After ten years in Chelsea, the gallery is ready for a change.” Following the closing of Mary Mattingly’s exhibition, “Nomadographies,” on May 23, the gallery will be available by appointment only until further notice.
