ROYAL INSTITUTE OF BRITISH ARCHITECTS ANNOUNCES 2011 AWARD WINNERS

The Royal Institute of British Architects has awarded thirteen of its esteemed prizes to buildings around the world, from Guangzhou Opera House to the Masdar Institute in Abu Dhabi. Jonathan Glancey of The Guardian reports that notable winners included Zaha Hadid for the Evelyn Grace Academy in Brixton as well as Guangzhou Opera House; Norman Foster for the Masdar Institute; Michael Hopkins for the 2012 Olympics Velodrome; and Jean Nouvel for One New Change.
