RUBA KATRIB APPOINTED CURATOR OF SCULPTURECENTER
Ruba Katrib, associate curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, has been named curator of SculptureCenter, reports Andrew Russeth of the New York Observer. In her former role, Katrib is noted for initiating performance and workshop programs as well as organizing solo shows with artists including Cory Arcangel and French collective Claire Fontaine. Katrib succeeds Fionn Meade and will assume her new role February 15.
