San Francisco’s 500 Capp Street Foundation Appoints Bob Linder as Curator

According to Tessa Goldsher of Artnews, the 500 Capp Street Foundation, a museum housed in the former San Francisco home of conceptual artist David Ireland, has announced that Bob Linder, director and co-owner of Capital gallery, has been named curator.

Speaking about Linder and Diego Villalobos, curator and head of programs at the organization, Carlie Wilmans, executive director of the foundation, said, “Linder was a student of Ireland, and Villalobos was a student of Linder. Together they form a powerful lineage directly from Ireland and will collaborate on exhibitions and programs that illuminate the historical importance of his practice and put his work in dialogue with other contemporary artists.” Linder will present his first exhibition at the foundation, “The Echo” on September 9.
