Sean Kelly Gallery to Open Project Space in Taiwan, Gladys Lin Named Director

New York’s Sean Kelly Gallery, located on 475 Tenth Avenue, announced that it plans to open a new project space in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. Gladys Lin will serve as the venue’s director. She will be responsible for overseeing the general operations, the gallery’s artist and client relationships, and museum and exhibition initiatives aimed to help expand the gallery’s growing presence in the region.

“We are delighted that Gladys has joined the gallery,” Sean Kelly said in a statement. “She is a highly regarded professional whose extensive knowledge of and experience in the contemporary Asian market will be invaluable to the gallery and its clientele.”

Lin has over a decade of experience in the international contemporary art world. Previously, she has worked with a number of private collectors, helping to build signficant collections of art. Lin has also organized and managed numerous exhibitions at institutions across Asia.

In a statement, Lin said, “I am excited to bring the gallery’s important international program to greater prominence in Asia’s dynamic art scene and at the same time continue to build on the gallery’s history of working with the very best Asian artists in the West.”
