SITE Santa Fe Reveals $6 Million Expansion

SITE Santa Fe has revealed that it is planning a major six-million-dollar expansion of its building to give it an additional fifteen thousand square feet, reports Anne Constable for the Santa Fe New Mexican. Its facade will also get layers of aluminum cladding inspired by Navajo rug and pottery patterns. The expansion and revamp is designed by SHoP architects of New York, which was also responsible for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the new master plan for LaGuardia Airport.

“We interviewed several other firms and toured buildings. They wowed us,” said Andy Wallerstein, the chairman of SITE’s board.
