The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art has announced that multibillionaire hedge-fund executive Steven A. Cohen has been appointed to its board of trustees. The museum calls Cohen “one world’s leading collectors of modern and contemporary art.” With the addition of Cohen, the board now consists of six officers and forty-five members.
“Steve Cohen will bring extraordinary insights and energy to the LA MoCA board, and I look forward to working alongside him as the museum moves forward and continues to present the most exciting contemporary art of our time,” said board cochair Maria Arena Bell.
