Britain’s Imperial War Museum has announced that Steve McQueen will serve as the UK’s “official war artist” and will be sent to Iraq to interpret the aftermath of the conflict. The decision was reached after fierce infighting on the selection panel, James Morrison reports in The Independent; several panelists wanted to select Jake and Dinos Chapman.
