UK MUSEUMS GET A FINANCIAL BOOST

The British government has earmarked two million pounds (3.2 million dollars) for distribution to some of the UK’s major cultural institutions, The Guardian reports. A total of fourteen museums and galleries, including the British Museum and Liverpool’s National Museums, will receive grants to revamp displays and public spaces and to improve access for disabled visitors.
