VENICE BIENNALE VISITOR NUMBERS ANNOUNCED

The 52nd International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale closed November 21 after tallying 319,322 visitors. According to the Biennale office, this has been the most popular Biennale exhibition of the past twenty-five years and one of the most visited in the exhibition’s hundred-year history. The national pavilions, spread throughout the city of Venice, have tallied more than 827,000 visitors. Of these totals, more than 34,000 were counted during the professional preview, which lasted from June 6 to 9.
