Several new trustees have joined the board of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, reports David Ng in the Los Angeles Times.
One of them is Jamie McCourt, the former coowner, president, and CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers. McCourt presently sits on the boards of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Centre Pompidou Foundation–the American organization supporting the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
The Wallis has also named choreographer Debbie Allen, journalist and Annenberg Foundation managing director Cinny Kennard, as well as Jacqueline Avant and Carol Goldsmith to its board. The Wallis, which opened to the public in 2013, presents theater, dance, classical music, and other performing arts programs.
