WINNERS OF 2011 SKOWHEGAN AWARDS INCLUDE ROBERT STORR AND ANNE PASTERNAK

The winners of the 2011 Skowhegan Awards have been announced. The artist and critic Robert Storr has won the Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney Award for Outstanding Patronage of the Arts while the president and artistic director of Creative Time, Anne Pasternak, has won the Governors’ Award for Outstanding Service to Artists. Other Skowhegan medals went to Ai Weiwei for multidisciplinary art, Mark Bradford for painting, and Ursula von Rydingsvard for sculpture.
