Board members have been named for the performing arts center to be designed by Frank Gehry at the World Trade Center site, according to the New York Times’ Patricia Cohen. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum Foundation has listed real-estate developers Larry Silverstein and John E. Zuccotti; Christy Ferer, founder and chief executive of the Vidicom video company; Julie Menin, chairwoman of Community Board 1; and Zenia Mucha, executive vice president of the Walt Disney Company. Patricia E. Harris will serve as ex-officio member representing the mayor, Michael Bloomberg. The foundation was required to name a board before receiving the $100 million set aside for the center by the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation.
