A surge of support from students and faculty at the University of California at Berkeley has resulted in the removal of all obstacles to the creation of the new University Arts Center. A nationwide architectural competition for the building has been won by Mario J. Ciampi. Ciampi was chosen from among 359 other competitors . . .

A theft of eight Indian Rajput miniature paintings on December 10, 1965 is reported by the Philadelphia College of Art. The miniatures were on exhibition at the College. Information which might be useful in their recovery should be reported to Ruben Eshkanian, Fabric Design Department, Philadelphia College of Art, Broad and Pine Streets, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . . .
