Kochelev in conjunction with the recent retrospective of that artist's work in New York, under the auspices of Ilya Kabakov. Josif Bakshteyn, the preeminent critic in Russia, wrote his reply after a copy of Mr. Solomon's appreciation was leaked to him by an unknown source.
