DON WAS A GREAT MAN and a great thinker who left an incredible body of work, beautiful and radical, yet there was still so much he could have contributed. He was also a shy and exacting man. Having achieved a degree of closeness to him and gained his trust, I feel a terrific loss now that he is gone.
