PRINT Summer 1999

Kristin Lucas

I can’t even remember the last time I sat in a room without at least two monitors on at the same time (like most people, I keep a TV, radio, and telephone next to me at all times to drown out the silence), so the computer’s just another source of the EPF (electronic pulse field) in my apartment. I use the Internet for research, entertainment, communication, and window shopping; in between beats I cruise artists’ sites. I’m partial to those that really capitalize on the technology’s potential, that push the imagination and bend the rules.

Kristin Lucas is an artist living in New York.
